Q&A with Katie
Why did you choose this profession or area of specialty?
I strive to provide the best individualized care to women.
“When a woman births, not only is a baby being born but so is a mother. How we treat her will affect how she feels about herself as a mother and as a parent. Be gentle. Be kind. Listen”
Why would a patient choose you as a provider?
I want to sit down and get to know you and your family’s needs. I will take the time to answer all of your questions. I will help you learn about the physical and emotional changes associated with pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period. Together we can make a plan that is right for you. There is no “right or wrong” way to birth, just what is right for you.
What do you like best about your job?
“The word ‘Midwife’ means ‘with woman’. I am so fortunate to have the opportunity to partner with women and their families during this incredible journey!”
