Welcome Dr. Pengfei Wang
The Kaldas Center is pleased to announce that Dr. Pengfei Wang, endometriosis and uterine fibroid specialist, has joined the team. Dr. Wang is excited to join Dr. Kaldas, Dr. Menya, and the rest of the Kaldas Center family in advancing health care for women. His extensive experience and healthcare specialties make Dr. Wang an excellent fit for many of our patients.
Dr. Wang’s Education
Dr. Wang began his medical education while living in his homeland of China. It was there that he also completed his urology residency and obtained his Ph.D. in Urological Oncology.
Following his residency, Dr. Wang lived in Japan for a year with a fellowship in urology. He then journeyed more than 6,000 miles from Japan to the United States for eight years of postdoctoral fellowship. In that time, he performed basic research, a general surgical residency, a transplant fellowship, an OB/GYN residency and a fellowship in GYN minimally invasive surgery.
Soon after completing this extensive education, Dr. Wang found the perfect match in the Kaldas Center, where his diverse skills can help women of the Fox Valley live better lives.
Dr. Wang’s Specialties
Dr. Pengfei Wang has a tremendous amount of education in women’s health. While he is a general OB/GYN physician, his specialties lie in endometriosis and uterine fibroids. While in one of his many fellowships, Dr. Wang trained under the watchful eye of the acclaimed Dr. Farr Nezhat for various complicated uterine fibroid procedures.
Dr. Wang wants his patients to know that there are alternative and minimally invasive surgical options for their treatment, and he is passionate about finding the right solution for you.
Outside Of The Office
In his free time, Dr. Wang can be spotted enjoying the day with his family or throwing a line in the water for some quiet fishing. When he needs a moment to himself, he enjoys taking in a good book or movie.
